MOLECULES, by Francesc Serra Vila
MOLECULES is an evolving structure that explores the relationship between body and space; a living volume that takes over the building and interacts with the visitors.
Part of TRIBE17
The happening presents a formless body, in constant transformation: it breaths, it expands and compresses; occasionally it splits and comes together. MOLECULES incorporates a soundscape to reinforces the sense of disorientation and its three-dimensional character.
MOLECULES is a 90-minute performance that travels around the building and that invites the visitor to discover, at each encounter, a new situation.
Dancers: Alejandra Chacón, Maria Kapala, Ewa Limanówka and Amaia Mujica.
Sound designer: Alastair Gavin
Special thanks to Sam, Paloma, Lingge, and LAJUAN gallery and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama for their support.
